-Halloween Party- Wednesday, Oct. 31st 1:30-3- Please send your child's costume in in a marked bag. Parade starts at 2.
A note will be coming home Friday about costumes, but here is a heads-up:
1. Face painting is not permitted, so students' faces are recognizable.
2. Costumes may not mock another student, faculty member, race, religion or lifestyle preference.
3. Costume accessories that are deemed dangerous or similar to weaponry are not permitted.
4. Do not wear masks or any items that will impede your vision or identity.

Reading:
We are continuing our study about main idea and details. Vocab and comprehension test has been moved to Friday.
-Feed a Friend- The high school student council is accepting
non-perishable food along with any monetary donations. All items are being accepted until the week
of Nov. 12th.
Grammar:
We are learning about statement and question sentences. Quiz will be Tuesday.
Spelling:
There will be no spelling list this week. Sight word list #3 test will be Friday.
Math:
The next math unit is on place value. Please be sure to ask your children about the activities we are doing to make learning math fun! There will only be homework Monday and Tuesday night. Happy Halloween!
Social Studies:
We are studying community helpers. Grades will come from class assignments; there will be no tests.
