Reading:
We are starting our first story, skill and vocab this week. This will carry over into next week and the test will be next week (Thursday). Practice reading the decodable reader "Gus" this week and the vocabulary, which can be found on the sheet in the green folder.
Math:
We will be completing a baseline test for skills we will be working on this year. This is just to see where the students are and what they remember from first grade.
Spelling:
List #1 is in your child's folder. We are focusing on words with short words and consonants. Our first quiz will be next week (Wednesday).
Science:
We will be starting our first chapter this week- The Nature of Science.
