-Due to internet issues throughout the district, report cards will now be coming home Tuesday.
Reading:
We start a new story this week. Our focus again will be cause and effect. While reading at home, please encourage your child to read with expression. The vocab and comprehension test will be next Friday (2/1).
Grammar:
We will be focusing on plural nouns; quiz will be next Thursday.
Spelling:
Lesson #9 post test will be Tuesday. Homework Tuesday night- write the incorrect words 3x each. Dojo points are still being awarded for extra practice. Sight words list #7 will be sent home Friday.
Math:
We are focusing on addition skills and slowly incorporating some subtraction. Next week's homework will be subtraction. Homework Tuesday- Thursday night.
Science:
Our study of weather continues. Our next focus will be ways to describe weather.
