Reading:
This week's skill is fact/detail and the strategy is background knowledge. The vocab and comprehension test will be Friday (1/18).
Grammar:
We are learning about singular and plural nouns; quiz will be Wednesday.
Spelling:
Lesson #8- post test will be Tuesday (1/14). Dojo points are still be awarded for extra practice. Sight word list #6 was sent home Friday, quiz will be Friday.
Math:
We are back to focusing on addition skills (adding doubles and near doubles and strategies to add three numbers). There will be an adding three numbers quiz on Tuesday. Homework Monday - Thursday night.
Science:
Our study of weather continues. Our next focus will be ways to describe weather.
