This week's skill is fact/detail and the strategy is background knowledge. The vocab and comprehension test will be next Friday (1/18).
Grammar:
We are learning about singular and plural nouns; quiz will be next Wednesday.
Spelling:
Lesson #8- Monday's homework is to write the words spelled incorrect 3x each. The post test will be next Tuesday (1/14). Dojo points are still be awarded for extra practice. Sight word list #6 will be coming home Friday, quiz will be next Friday.
Math:
We are back to focusing on addition skills (adding doubles and near doubles and strategies to add three numbers). Homework Monday - Thursday night.
Science:
Our study of weather continues. We are going to be focusing on the water cycle.
