Basket raffle theme is stuffed animals. Either new stuffed animals or monetary donations are being accepted and very appreciated! If you have any other ideas you would like to share for our basket, please let me know.
Reading:
The new focus is compare and contrast. The vocab and comprehension test will be next Friday (2/22). Speed drill due Friday (2/15).
Grammar:
The next lesson is on possessive nouns. It is a tough one, so please make sure students review the papers that come home; test next week.
Spelling:
Lesson #10 post test will be Friday. Homework- write incorrect words 3x each. Dojo points are being awarded for extra practice. Sight word list #8 will be sent home Friday (2/15), test Friday (2/22).
Math:
We will complete unit 3 this week. Test will be Wednesday. Homework Monday- Thursday night.
Science:
Chapter 7 study guide was sent home last week. Test will be Tuesday or the next school day. After this test we will be returning to social studies to discuss maps and our community.
