Reading:
We will be wrapping up our focus of fact/opinion this week. Vocab and comprehension (A Weed is a Flower) test Friday (5/3). Reading fluency passage due Friday, this is not optional. Students have to read it twice every night while being timed for 1 minute.
Grammar:
The quiz for forms of to be (ex. am, is are, was and were) Thursday (5/2).
Spelling:
List #16 pretest Monday (5/6). The focus of this list will be words ending with syllable-le (ex. ankle).
Math:
Tomorrow we start our unit on geometry/fractions. Homework Monday-Thursday night.
Science:
What is matter? Students will explore different forms of matter.
