-Book Challenge- Read nightly - submit your paper once you have read 10 books.
-Snack Time- Please do not send candy with your child. This is supposed to be a snack that fills their belly until lunch time.
Reading:
The focus of our next story is plot, test Friday. Fluency passage due Friday.
Spelling:
List #5 test Friday.
-Grammar- We will continue working on sentences this week, quiz Wednesday.
-Math- We will finish place value this week and test will be Thursday. Homework Monday-Thursday.
-Science- Our focus for this marking period will be the solar system.
Reminders:
Our nightly homework will consist of a math sheet, review the spelling and vocab words, and reading fluency passage. Some nights I will also send home a decodable reader. Please take time to read it with your child and also model reading (fluency, expression, etc.). Remember the most up to date homework can be found on my homework blog.
