-Penny Wars- Nov. 4th-11th- collect pennies to benefit our PBIS.-Report Cards Fri., Nov. 8th
-Party Money $6 due as soon as possible.
-Book Challenge- Read nightly - submit your paper once you have read 10 books.
-Snack Time- Please do not send candy with your child. This is supposed to be a snack that fills their belly until lunch time.

Reading:
The focus of our next story is plot. Fluency passage due Friday.
Spelling:
List #5 corrections 3x each due tomorrow. Post test will be Tuesday, Nov. 5th. Sight word test 10/29
-Grammar- We will continue working on sentences this week, quiz Wednesday.
-Math- We will finish place value this week and test will be next week. Homework Monday-Thursday.
-Social Studies- This week we will compare our new pictures with old pictures and wrap up our unit on communities.
Reminders:
Our nightly homework will consist of a math sheet, review the spelling and vocab words, and reading fluency passage. Some nights I will also send home a decodable reader. Please take time to read it with your child and also model reading (fluency, expression, etc.). Remember the most up to date homework can be found on my homework blog.
