**This will be the last week for Quotes for a Cause. You can help out our PTO by calling to get a quote on home/auto/life/disability insurance. For every quote NS receives, the PTO will get $10. Reading:
We started a new story about folk tales- passing stories down from one generation to another. If you know of any in your family, this would be a great way to connect what we are learning in the classroom. Vocab and comprehension test Friday (4/5). Reading fluency passage due Friday, this is not optional. Students have to read it twice every night while being timed. The time gets logged on the paper along with parent initials. Speed drill due Friday- Dojo points if completed.
Grammar:
Our new skill is verbs in the past, present and future tense, quiz next Thursday (4/4).
Spelling:
List #13 post test Monday (4/1) Monday homework- write incorrect words 3x each. Dojo points for extra practice.
Math:
Review Monday night, test on Unit 4 Tuesday. The next unit will be on money and time. Please start reviewing the names of the coins and counting with your child. Homework Monday-Thursday night.
Social Studies:
Students will finish putting their address into a project this week.
