Thank you for all of your basket donations! I will be posting a picture next week. Any student that donated to our basket will receive a ticket for a special prize drawing at the auction. They will also receive a free dress down day.
Reading:
Vocab and comprehension (Rosa & Blanca) test Thursday (4/18). Reading fluency passage due Monday because of no school Friday, this is not optional. Students have to read it twice every night while being timed. The time gets logged on the paper along with parent initials.
Grammar:
We continue our work with verbs, quiz Thursday (4/17).
Spelling:
List #15 pretest test Monday (4/22). The focus is comparative endings -er, -est (example- bigger, biggest)
Math:
Unit 5 focuses on time and measurement. We will continue discussing time this week and begin exploring measurement. Quiz on time to the 5 minutes tomorrow. Homework Monday-Wednesday night.
Science:
What is matter? Students will explore different forms of matter.
