Reading:
Tomorrow we begin our new story - poetry. We will be writing our own poem this week. Fluency passage due Friday.
Spelling:
Corrections 3x each Wednesday night - Due Thursday.
-Grammar- We continue working on declarative (.) and interrogative (?) sentences. Quiz Friday.
-Math- The next unit focus will be on place value. Homework Tuesday-Thursday.
-Social Studies- We will be putting our address into a project this week and learning more about "Me on the Map".
Reminders:
Our nightly homework will consist of a math sheet, review the spelling and vocab words, and reading fluency passage. Some nights I will also send home a decodable reader. Please take time to read it with your child and also model reading (fluency, expression, etc.). Remember the most up to date homework can be found on my homework blog.
